A few weeks ago, I received a request from the daughter of the owner of long-time member, Bannick Music & Games in Bad Axe, Mich., to see if we had something we could send along to reflect her father's many years of involvement in the coin-op industry ... as he marked his 91st birthday.

So, we put together a plaque of appreciation for Mr. Bannick, and last weekend, I received an email from the daughter, Cindy Luetzow, with a "thank you" note and attached picture.

It got me thinking. Not a day goes by that someone isn't marking a milestone birthday or company anniversary (thank you, FaceBook). For example, we know AMOA's member roster contains many companies who have been in business for 10, 25, 50, 75 or even 100 years, but rarely does AMOA acknowledge such impressive achievements.

We're not shy in proudly proclaiming 2013 as our 65th anniversary as a trade service organization, and you shouldn't miss the chance to tout your accomplishments, either.

While AMOA isn't in the greeting card business, we would be delighted to help celebrate special milestones in the AMOA family by mentioning them here in Off-the-Top.

We're proud of who you are and what you do.

Happy Birthday, Mr. Bannick!
