JLO Holding the Line on 2010 Rates!

jlo_logo_2008.jpgFor the first time in many years, the Jukebox License Office (JLO) has announced there will be no increase in rates for licenses for 2010. Each year at about this time, the JLO announces its license fees for the coming year, and according to JLO Manager Katie Wilkinson, the rates in 2010 will be the same as they were for 2009.

Therefore, the rates will continue to be:

$434 for the first jukebox
$100 standard rate for each additional box
$73 AMOA rate for each additional box
AMOA members will continue to receive a substantial per-box discount (after the first license is purchased). On the second and subsequent JLO licenses, association members pay $27 less per box than nonmembers.

Council Seeks Sponsors for State Association Meeting

The date and place for the 2010 annual AMOA Council of Affiliated States Meeting is set for February 18-20, 2010 at the Hyatt Regency on the Riverwalk in San Antonio, TX, and now, the Committee overseeing the event -- Chaired by AMOA Director Rick LaFleur -- is actively putting plans together for the program, new state participants and sponsors.

Just today, MEI joined Grand Vision Gaming and the Montana Coin Machine Operators Association (MCMOA) as sponsors for the event. AMOA and the attendees from around the country who turn out for this gathering are very appreciative of the support that helps ensure the Council meeting continues to be one of the best industry meetings of the year.
