Sponsors Step Up to Support State Session Print E-mail

Despite all the not-so-rosy reports we hear and read about these days, one positive signal has been the registration and participation levels in the upcoming February 5-7, 2009 AMOA Council of Affiliated States meeting.

This annual gathering of coin-op leaders from around the country will be conducted at the Hyatt Regency in downtown Phoenix. The theme of this year's meeting, "Blueprint for Change" will feature sessions on grassroots advocacy, a panel session by factory execs on ways to endure the current business climate and a series of updates and reports by delegates representing their state organizations.

A special session for Executive Directors, a welcoming reception and group dinner, as well as an optional pre-event golf outing, are all part of the schedule.

Both attendee numbers and sponsorship support have already exceeded last year's totals. To date, 45 attendees from 24 states have signed up, and 23 firms have also committed to serving as sponsors for the meeting. Among them:

  • American Vending Sales, Inc.
  • Amusement & Music Operators of Texas
  • Arachnid
  • Betson
  • Ecast
  • Incredible Technologies, Inc.
  • Jukebox License Office
  • JVL
  • Louisiana Amusement & Music Operators Association
  • Maryland Amusement Machine Operators Association

  • Ohio Coin Machine Association
  • Oregon Amusement & Music Operators Association
  • Pyramid Technologies Inc
  • Rowe International

AMOA and all those in attendance greatly appreciate the support of this year's sponsoring organizations.
