With more than 1,000 members in the fold for 2008, we want to make sure we do not overlook anyone in our renewal campaign. To underscore the value of membership, the association's Membership/Marketing Committee has created a series of post cards that, starting next week, will be mailed to non-renewing members.
We want you back, and with the help of our post cards, telemarketing and other outreach efforts, we hope you get the message and continue to receive the benefits of AMOA membership.
Renewing is easy. You can fax it in to 847-428-7719. You can call it in to 800-937-2662. You can mail it in to AMOA, 33 W. Higgins Road, Suite 830, South Barrington IL 60010. Or the quickest way would be to renew on-line here.

This year, the American Amusement Machine Association's (AAMA) group stand included four exhibiting firms: Rock-Ola, ESD, Benchmark Games and Pyramid Technologies. Overall feedback on the show by these participating firms was positive, with a good flow of visitors. AAMA offers members favorable pricing, enhanced visibility and a turnkey package approach for exhibitors at ATEI and other trade shows as part of its Location Trade Show program.
In the accompanying photo, AAMA President Mike Rudowicz, AAMA Chairman Dave Courington (of Valley Dynamo); AMOA President Lloyd Williamson (of Williamson Amusements); and AMOA Executive V.P. Jack Kelleher, visit at the AAMA Pavilion at ATEI yesterday, the final day of the three-day show.

Yes, we're already getting started on the 60th edition of the AMOA Membership Directory. To be published in late spring/early summer, it will contain the industry's most comprehensive compilation of information about coin-op operators, trade partners and others affiliated with the marketplace.
Many industry manufacturers, distributors, suppliers and other organizations recognize the value of this year-round resource by placing ads. Last year, an impressive 52 firms featured advertisements in the AMOA Membership Directory.
For this year, as an added incentive to participate as an advertiser, AMOA is offering a $100 discount on full page ads and a $50 discount on half-page ads off the published rate. The only stipulation is that ad materials be received by April 4. That's 77 days from now, so if you start working on your ad today, you should be able to meet the deadline!
Just in case you're wondering, the brochure pictured here is the original "Articles of Incorporation/Constitution and Bylaws" from 1948, for the then Music Operators of America.
The constitution and bylaws that have evolved over the years is published annually in the Membership Directory.
For more information about the directory, including advertising rates and specifications, please contact Maggie Kapinos at: 800-937-2662 or via email at:

In addition to the formalized interaction between delegates from around the country who participate in this year's AMOA Council of Affiliated States Meeting next month, attendees will gain a unique perspective on the city of Chicago - literally - when they gather downtown for a special presentation/reception at the offices of Sonnenschein, Nath and Rosenthal -- AMOA's Legislative Counsel -- on the 68th floor of the famous Sears Tower.
An optional, pre-program group tour of some industry company facilities is also being set up, as well as a Welcoming Reception and a downtown dinner.
To date, 35 delegates from 19 states have signed up. As well, several companies have generously stepped up to sponsor the planned social programs for the gathering. Among them:
- American Vending Sales
- Arachnid
- Ecast
- JVL
- Jukebox License Office/AMOA Jukebox Promotion Committee
- Minnesota Operators of Music and Amusements
- Ohio Coin Machine Association
- Oregon Amusement & Music Operators Association
- Pyramid Technologies
- South Dakota State Association
- Super Auctions
- Tennessee Coin Machine Association
- TouchTunes
- Wisconsin Amusement & Music Operators Association
