AMOA Leadership Spans the Country
Since inception back in 1948, the Amusement & Music Operators Association has had a large group of volunteer leaders from around the country.
At this year's membership meeting — conducted last month in Las Vegas — a bylaw amendment to reduce the board from its maximum of 47 to a range between 36-41 individuals (depending on the size of new classes of directors) was approved.
Currently, the AMOA board is comprised of 43 individuals from 28 states.
While the gradual decrease will help in the recruitment of quality directors; provide for more effective, efficient working committees; and reduce operational expenses; the organization remains focused on the goal of having director/leadership representing diverse member interests from coast to coast.
